Summer Snapshots

I wanted to insert a few summer pics before moving on to our fall '15 pics. Just a few random shots

Last day at working on the organic farm. They worked all through the summer at a local farmer's place- weeding, picking etc in exchange for free organic veggie. Thanks guys!

Rye Working the Harvest

Ryan worked 15 hour days, 6 days a week for a month helping with the harvest. Whew what a long haul for him! He drove John Deere 9600 combine. He had to drive in the fields as well as on the highways while moving from field to field. We were amazed by his harrowing tales! :-)

There must be a story behind this....

There goes Rye, wanting to get a closer look..

Don't panic, don't think of green slippery rocks.. act casual.. its perfectly fine.. ( I'm thinking these must be universal thoughts of a mother of boys....)

'Hi guys!'

The huckleberries were everywhere!

Almost time to head home- Rye has to throw in a line at the last minute..

~~~~Best of Friends~~~~
For 9 years now we have known the very special Seigler family. We have so many heart connections with them.. Ashley and Amanda have really connected with both Felicia and Susannah from the beginning. We met when our family started attending Napavine Baptist Church in Napavine, WA soon after our return from Liberia. When the Liberian girls came and stayed with us and we were going through the turmoil of the adoption and the loss of the girls, they were by our side and very loving to us. It has been so fun to watch Susannah, Felicia, Ashley & Amanda stay friends through the years- despite miles of distance and life changes, staying connected and staying the best of friends. We were recently able to
spend a lot of time with both Susannah & Felicia and it was such a joy!
One of the girls' friends were getting married recently. Susanna and Felicia were singing for the wedding- Ashley & Amanda came along and helped with making and hanging signs
