Sunriver!

Nana (and cousin Austin!) took us ladies plus our wonderful friend Willow to Sunriver! We had 2 lovely days filled with swimming, biking and a lovely trip to the Historic Museum!! Thank you Nana! I was able to have my own condo with the little girls, Nana and cousin Austin had a condo and Ashley, Amanda and Willow had one also! Sadly, Miss Laura got sick with the flu,, we missed out on a few things but she bounced back quickly and we still enjoyed it thoroughly!

Going to the shops! Little Laura and I stayed behind in our condo since she was feeling so poorly.. :-(

Lovely Ladies!

Still feeling a bit woozy, Laura decides to try a bike ride the next day!

Such a trooper!

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time! We felt kind of sorry for the guys who we had left behind at home to work the harvest! They did enjoy a fun time up at lost lake the weekend before though! Fishing and lots of guy time!

Biscuit, the Wonder-Horse!

We got this sweet horse for $150 from a local ferrier. He had let a family lease her over the winter and spring and she was in pretty bad shape when he got her back..

Within a few weeks, Ashley and Amanda had her in great condition! By feeding a high calorie weight gain grain, two kinds of hay and alfafa pellets.. she really bulked up quickly!

She hadn't been ridden in years so it took a few times.. but she is doing great being ridden now! She is such a sweetheart and its been a blast having a horse around again!

Even Miss Gracie who can be a bit horsey-shy loves her!

Yay Biscuit!!

Fun Around the House & Grady's B-day!

This place is so picture-perfect! So quiet and relaxing!

I wonder where they get all the drama!??

Happy Birthday Grady!! & Daddy!!! We went to Sizzler and had all-you-can-eat ribs and prawns along with the salad bar. It was so yummy! While dining, someone came up to Grady and asked if he was running for the Oregon State Legislature!

Papa & Nana's New Place

With Papa & Nana purchasing a new house, there are lots of improvements and help we hope to lend to them this spring & summer! Unpacking, helping put in their front yard, Painting and all around hanging out with them! It's great they are so much closer now!

Grace's Piano Recital and a Special Gift

Mrs. Powell gets the children organized

Grace did such a great job not being nervous!

She played La Dona E Mobile from Rigoletto

Grace has taken lessons from Mrs. Powell for almost 4 years now. She is such a special role model and an encouraging teacher! Grace absolutely loves her! In addition, Amanda has taken piano lessons from her as well. They have such a special relationship too!

Little Laura is looking forward to joining Grace this fall for lessons!

A few weeks after Grace's recital, Mrs. Powell contacted us to ask if we would like to have her baby Grand Piano that was needing a new home! What an amazing blessing! So exciting!!

They're here!

Last class of the season! We love you Mrs. Powell! Thank you for such an amazing and wonderful gift for our girls!
